Totally agree with you, and glad to know I'm not the only one skankin to dubstep in the morning
Actually it's the only music I can dance on, really, maybe except for drum n bass. Dubstep has that 'flow' innit, you know, you can quietly follow the bass pattern or go totally crazy on a tune, your choice. Just let the dubstep run through your veins.

Not sure which events these guys are going to, but I'd just like to big up all the wonderful ladies in Nottingham who have been dancing in fine style to this music for several years now....

Haha don't get me wrong here, dubstep/dnb are the only styles I can really
express myself, other kinds of music can be fun too, no doubt, but (for me) nothing can beat those two when it comes to dancin. It's just personal.

i was just talking about this on another forum:
last night i realized that every dubstep tune (good ones anyway) have a dominant geometry
i could see the geometry flowing around the room and its different for every track. like a 3-d energy snowflake that dances around the room.
and if you move with it, it will move you with its shape
like if the shape only went in one direction and the shape was a line, it would be like a stream you could walk through if you wanted, or if you submitted to it, it would tug you along in its direction
but its not a stream going in one direction, its a 3-d snowflake of streams
cymatics is evidence of this
if you look at the plates, you see 2-d geometry, but thats just gravity. they're trying to make 3d shapes
dancers have been tapping into this 3-d geometry music creates probably since the dawn of mankind and even before
actually i'm going to call it 4-d geometry because it moves

thats abit mad but i know what you mean. i think the creativity of rhythms and
high quality production(on some tunes) creates a unique vibe that
lifts the mood and makes people want to dance

when you meditate on bass weight you are fusing your consciousness with sacred geometry

Serioooooooooooooooous, this is exactly how i have been feeling recently, i sometimes sit back get stoned, close my eyes, but on a THUMPING song on, i like to do this mainly to dark and atmospheric DNB but dubsteps all good too. And create almost itunes / wmp visulizations in my head, and when im dancing i usally recreate this too, when i say visulizations i mean certain synth samples that sound like their being dragged up and down or their a tube...Am i talking shit? I dunno but i feel like this is the same thing.
