yeah i like this tune its moody, and i like the reversed drum samples
they work well.
if i had to say something bad about it i think maybe the allround
structure was abit random but each to their own.

The tablas are class on silent smile. Most 'def need more music like this. Lost on Time is dope. Only, 'can't tell if its lost in the future or the past. very nice. I coud play this @ the hookah lounge w. my mc. Buzzin.

Music is ready for the Mc .. always is good.. I mean the melody. it kinda reminded me of someone who's heart might have been broken or maybe something bad happened, but its does get up lifting to the end and you are reminded with the beat that its gonna go on no matter what, no reason to stop because something bad happens.

I liked the swelling atmospheres in Aperture again the melody seemed kinda sad but at the same time there was this underlying sort of struggle to show that its not over and things will go on. Aperture def tells me its not over. the track didnt seem finished for some reason or maybe the tune just finished too fast...

Hibernate has that underlying current. Good job. I would say add a couple minutes to each track and really push the low end. :)

silent smile

Post by bakir » Fri Jul 11, 2008 10:41 pm

Akema-

I really dig silent smile! The percussion and verbed out drums are fantastic. The only thing you might want to give some thought to is the tonailty of some of your melodic/harmonic elements. Over all a very cool, musical track. :D

Lost in time...
Beautiful. Really nice. I'm a sucker for the nice pads, rich athmospherics and interesting melodies/loops.

There were one or two of the samples that felt a little out of tune, which spoiled it slightly, but otherwise this was awesome.

Silent Smile...
Love the tablas, intro is brilliant. I'm big in to this!

So chilled, and really relaxing - great work mate. Keep it up!!

Any 320s of your stuff? Would love to get some HQ tracks. PM me if so!!
