http://www.bassboxing.com/Bass Boxing is currently the best multimedia solution to hitting people. It's a wigged out 'n hacked 80s-style arcade game severed from its motherchip and thrust trembling into the real world. It's boxing gone bonkers at 120 decibels. Contenders wallop each other in a ring with oversized wireless boxing gloves triggering bass drops, kicks and various other brutal noises through an ear-bending soundsystem. Points are scored through deft knuckle use, stealth and heroism. Twat em hard and fast and you'll 'come good' with hi scores and bonus noises, be slow off the mark and get a shower of abuse from the machine.

Welcome to The Overkill zone, brought to you by Littlebig. Oh yes, we are back at Glade with a rollercoaster ride of extreme entertainment, a non stop barrage of the worlds finest live acts to add methanol to your Glade cocktail. Yup, its PartyRave time…
After Brighton’s Jay Pace from The Black Box System gets things warmed up we have Chevron officially lighting the touchpaper on the weekend’s proceedings. Bringing his slamming Planet Mu / Wrong Music 3D tweak-rave sound, we start as we mean to go on! Blir is a new live project from the minimal northerners aka SND suitably leading into a special showcase from Manchester collective, Skam Records:
Head honcho Rob Hall + Freeform + Team Doyobi
= UK Party Electronics at its best.
ED DMX of Rephlex & Breakin Records fame will edge the tent towards rave with one of his finely tuned DJ sets that have been taking the roofs off clubs for many years. Meanwhile Flat-E visual collective will be getting busy with their hyper edit eye treats. Vex’d and Modeselektor are leading the way for new club music in our books. Bristol based Vex’d (Planet Mu) have played a big part imprinting Dubstep on the UK consciousness while Berlin based Modeselektor (B-Pitch Control) are ripping up the Electro-Techno rule book. The Gasman & Tim Exile’s mini mash sets will turn the party on its head. Both Planet Mu’ers, their unique styles are gifts from the Gods. (Tim’s set will be available for download from www.bleep.com the week after – and look out for his new live album “Nuisance Gabbaret Lounge”).
We’re excited to bring in Jason Forrest (aka Donner Summer) for a rare UK show. From his home in Berlin he’s been experimenting with new styles of mayhem-party music best described by the title of his recent album “Shamelessly Exciting”. PCM are rave captains from Birmingham who will unleash their home brewed acid jungle firmly putting us on collision course with the masters of hardcore gabba Hellfish & The DJ Producer. These two legends have been mashin up beats and releasing records since most of you were suckling on mother’s breast milk. It’s an ultra rare treat when they come together for shows and this makes the perfect end to day 1 in Zone Overkill.
Day 2: Wakey wakey. What’s that? You want some chilled sets to massage you back to life, sorry, wrong tent. Saturday afternoon is the time for live experiments and we have a turbulent selection of the most worthy weird and wonderful acts for you. After the Electroplegic Allstars get us up to speed Scotch Grind (aka Mr Egg) performs a special new noisy set just for Overkill. Ack Ack Ack are Brighton’s most exciting new band and not to be missed. Uncle Shitmat and The Wrong Crew are back to present their new offering especially prepared for Glade, The Countryside Alliance Crew (CAC). The Urban takeover will feature Ebola as DJ Pylage, Mully as Scrumpy Jack Frost, Shitmat as Farmer Giles Peterson and many more special guests (inc John Deere ‘traktor dj’, Wul-Pac & Roots Manure).
Next up is the mighty Trencher, best described as the UK’s answer to Lightening Bolt. Gay Against You (aka Germlin) are the Adaadat Record label’s hot new noisy gabba live band. Coming in especially from Prague where he has been introducing the locals to rave, Mattkore switches the mode to mash-up before a special set from the masters of bass Unique3. We are proud to have Warp Records’ new electronic hero Jackson over for a rare live set. His fresh style showcased via his recent album ‘Smash’ has pricked ears all over the world. DJ Rephlex Records makes a welcome return taking us deeper into the zone with his specialist selector skills before we hand over to Bang crew. Never has there been a team so dedicated to making true rave and we are honored to yank them out of their London cycle to host the first ever Bang Face festival experience…

CEEPHAX ACID CREW - The Original Acid Mentalist
LUKE VIBERT - An Acid and Jungle hero to us all

Day 3: A sumptuous selection of live acts take the stage for The Overkilled Sunday Service. True performers with a hint of theatre is the remit for the afternoon before we wind up with an evening shindig. After our very own N>E>D goes from silence to sound at the flick of a switch, Mike in Mono (ex Plone / Warp) plays a rare show to get things fully underway. The up-and-coming musical maverick from Brighton Voltek warms it right up before we proudly present 65 Days Of Static. Their blending of live instruments and electronicness has earned them a diverse range of fans and their shows have gathered a lot of momentum over the past year.
Max Tundra is a long running exponent of quirk, his releases (Domino, Warp, Tigerbeat) show off a huge range of explored avenues and after taking a break from gigging to finish a new album, this live performance should not be missed. Over from Amsterdam, About are a new act who just released their debut album of fucked up morish pop music ‘Bongo’ on the excellent Cock Rock Disco. Matt Yee King’s voodoo improv band Bavin bring the heavy sounds, they use an entire studio’s worth of kit and live trigger-jam their way through it all.
HK119 will blow your mind open with her theatre show. Resembling a zooped up female version of Bowie in his space-race hay day, HK is the wild card in the Sunday service before we hand over to the young Detroit beat meister Jimmy Edgar. With his recent ‘Color Strip’ album on Warp and super slick live set, Jimmy’s style of retro-futuristic electro-dance is causing a stir. B12 of Artificial Intelligence / Warp fame have recently burst out of hiding with a new live set. There are rumors of new recordings and hopefully some releases.. The B12 duo make a welcome visit to Glade to complete the Overkill session on a very high note.
Thanks to everyone whose helped. Enjoy. Ned.
Ps Keep an eye out for the new OVERKILL COMPILATION CD featuring all your favorite extreme entertainers, onsale (cheap) at the Glade.. and watch this space for Overkill shows around UK!

Jesus Christ do I hope Autechre are playing. I have also heard extremly strong rumours from some Wrong Music contacts that they're there, so fingers crossed.
Some sort of dubstep forum meet-up? If I think I recognise anyone from DMZ or FWD I'll go and say hi, probably end up approaching complete randoms, but that's half the fun.
