What's happened to Vex'd?

Post by mattmolotov » Mon Jul 14, 2008 9:30 pm

After the absolute onslaught/carnage/pure genius of Degenerate haven't heard anything except Third Choice, which is F**kin sick and very different from there previous shit, but still.. Where they at? I don't really keep up to date so probably jus passed me by I guess...

3rd Choice is really old isn't it? Although it came out recently.

They had a new thing on Mary Anne Hobbes show a while back and it sounded completely different to their old stuff. Someone might have a link to that

album due on Mu soon isn't there?

there's been a few remixes as well, and rumour seems to be than the dakimh track on Evangeline is one of them.

Both 3rd Choice and the Dakimh track are really old, 2005-2006 I believe.

As for newer stuff there's In System Travel, their remix of Nadja, and the Neoclassical remixes from last year.

maybe they are such perfectionists

their sound is unique & they have to maintain a standard

hopefully been 3 years since degenerate came out. Of course it was a total classic. But theres been loads of stuff came out since then by other producers, that's built on the idea/sounds of degenerate.I think jamie said in the interview on starkeys radioshow while back, they're thinkin of doin new things. Great i'd be well up hearing different stuff they do. But come on give us another vex'd album!! It'd be a real shame if they didnt follow up degenerate.

haha guess i'm just an impatient mutha fucka. At least Cloaks album shud drop wintertime. That'll give me fill of distorted/glitchy evilness. As for vex'd its been that long i'm more hopeful of a luke envoy ep
their remix of Nadja
aye on mary anne hobbs show with TRG&martyn went out last week. Its on Lo recordings i think

Thanks for that guys. As expected, pretty dark.

That Cotti/PE track MAH plays is pretty damn good too.
