Squarepusher Live at Bang Face Weekender 2008
Squarepusher played the best set I've ever heard in my life in April at the best rave ever, Bang Face Weekender 2008.
Here is a rip of the set. It is shit quality but it's a memory revitalized nevertheless.
I'd love an ID on the first song.
He also did his encore with JOURNEY TO REEDHAM!
Yes, melodramatic in the house. I cried the whole entire time.
& Yes I am still wearing my bracelet.

A lot of people said they couldn't stay inside because it was too hot. I guess it was pretty hot, but I changed into an outfit that was fitting, and managed to be on the left side by the front speakers and had a bit of room. Was also peaking on acid, so everything around was melting away anyway.
The heat gave it that grimey rave feel.

thanks for this man. Squarepusher = total legend! I'm from chelmsford same as him, and when i was like 14 or so in the early/mid nineties I saw him a couple of times at the local YMCA, when he just played with a drum machine and bass, total junglist mayhem.
Saw him at the glade in '05 (or maybe it was '06... my memory's a bit fried) when he was playing after carl craig and before afx, one of the best nights of my life. Saw him at koko too that year and he ended with journey to reedham then as well; a beautiful moment... I know what you mean about the melodramatic vibes, at certain points on these two nights i was definitely close to tears
It's all about steinbolt and ultravisitor for me though, just so fucking epic live

It's nice to see you realize how lucky you are to have witnessed him that many times, that early on.
