Not in a bad way but .. . . .
Its Pretty annoying that people complain they've heard tunes to much but it's they're own fault cause they've rinsed them too much e.g radio, mixes etc........
There is not much producers can do to promote a release other than batter it and get other dj's producers battering it . . .Know what im sayin?

Playing massive anthems while a club's filling up sucks. I felt like I'd had the main course too early at the last DMZ. I dunno if that makes sense to anyone else. I'm gonna arrive later next time.

In my world, I'd make music but not necessarily release all of it. Keep some tracks exclusive. That way by the time a big producer steps up, the warm up djs haven't already rinsed all their latest dubs.

I don't think that's the point of the complaints, less rewinds=more different tunes, a greater selection of producers.

For me it's just the rewind style of DJing. totally fucks up your rhythm and gets you out of the mood. Like an MC that won't shut up.

nar man thts not it rewinds happen wen the crowd is rockin an mc screams wen he feels tht u get me i dnt like lyrics on dubstep i think crazy d an pokes is the rite for the job still rewinds are essential 2 feel the atmosphere if u dnt like tht then u may aswell jus listen on you hifi or sumfin

all music is worth waitin 4 a release other wise it wudnt reach the shelves in the first place i have no problem wiv waitin 4 tht atall

I know what you sayin boss but there are a wealth of producers out there for a night to provide x amounta different sets, this seems to not be happening, sets are getting more similar I think. I love rewinds, but when a tune gets a couple of rewinds in a set, then played the next, then gets rewound set after it feels stagnant. More cross pollination is needed, how about somme of the Hench crew at next DMZ?

Defo. More DJ's and producers need to get represented.

Exactly - it's not as if ANY of the DJs at the last DMZ could be classed as warm up.

thts down 2 the djs nt the music tho skream sets are always bad cz he churns out tunes like i smoke cigs n ntype an chef are always big for me
i get wot your sayin tho line ups need 2 vary a little more

line up changes have already started tho. just look at the fwd line ups for july. lots of variation in there. those djs are almost all certified to have very different stuff in their boxes.

Don't get me wrong, but you can blame the internet for that. As you probebly know, if you use a track in a radio mix it's gonna get taped. Then listoned to loads of times, by which point people are borred.

I am pissed, so i could be wrong.

As some one who rarely listens to the radio and rarley goes out. It's not a big problem for me. I don't hear whats being plated on rotation. The theme of various threids would suggest it would appier thats the case.

You could just play Bahl Forward all night though.

I like the odd rewind once,maybe twice on the big tracks. it defo creates a hype crowd. I agree any more does kinda affect ur riddem. You gotta remember though alot goes into these tracks and they do deserve to get batterd. Not every one gets the chance to hear these riddems as much as some others. I remember in the begining no 1 hardly moved unless they knew the track( all the original 10 soldiers that were there).

the sounds still fairly new so lets all just enjoy the good vybes.

i don't mind hearing tracks till their battered...
it just means that i may not feel the urgency to buy them if i've heard them so many times over the waiting period before they come out.

Maybe dubstep should be more open to abroad producers making really good stuff?
