Amazing ledger/joker perfomance. The rest of the cast where poor though. Bale was fine but his voice near the end was comical. I could not even understand wat he was saying sometimes. The Worst clint eastwood impersonation ever heard. Its a 7.5/10 film not 9.5. I think the Americans have lost there mind abit with the rateing on IMDB. Ledger was amazing but the rest of the cast where so poor in comparision.

i don't think that's what he was referring to.

aaaanyway....

dark knight was heavyheavyheavy.

SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS

Ledger was amazing, the moment of the whole 'disappearing pencil' just set the whole tone of the film up brilliantly (how did this film stick with a '12' rating??). His voice, ticks, laughs and glares were incredible, loved his 'applause' when Gordon is named commissioner (the camcorder bits were great as well).
Moment of the film was probably when you see TwoFace for the first time, in the hospital when he was asking Gordon "What was the nickname everyone used to call me by back in IA?". That was something of a moment for me. How SICK did they get his face?? They also got his creation spot on with the events that build up to his transformation and Eckhart played both sides of the personality very well.
Someone said the other cast members were pretty wooden, I completely disagree. If you think about it, Bale plays Wayne just right, smarmy enough to cover his tracks as Batman while not being as boring as all the previous incarnations, plus i got used to 'the voice' now and actually quite like it after finding it ridiculous in Batman Begins. Surely the best actor to play Batman. Maggie Gyllenhal was 1000 times better than Katie Holmes (despite that not being too difficult), Gary Oldman is likeable as Gordon, Morgan Freeman served his purpose as he usually does and Michael Caine was, um, Michael Caine, can't really do anything about that.
The action was also much better choreographed/shot than Batman Begins, you could see what was going on a lot better. It was also very visceral; apart from the stupid sonar vision thing at the end I barely noticed any cgi throughout the film.
Oh, and the car/bike chase scene was sick, though I was sad to see the Batmobile go, i really grew to like it after being unconvinced in the first film.

Couldn't have put it better. It's a shame Heath won't be in the next one.

Best moment for me was the phone in the belly (although I was the only person cracking up in the cinema when it came on)

Out of interest, did anyone else have the 'intermission' half way through?

Best movie that's been filmed in Chicago so far. Seriously, that movie was dope.

Heath definitely stole the show. I can't wait to see what villain they do next.

The batman voice got a little annoying but the action made up for it.

Thought the acting from all the cast was amazing, even all of the cameos were great - notably the schizophrenic who shoots Gordon at the rally. Thought the music also elevated the film, they had some sick drones theme that played frequently that sounded like Sunn 0))). I think Ledger completely made the film, can't imagine anyone else being able to pull it off as well as he did, the performance was just awesome. The makeup for the joker was awesome as well, but was slightly let down by two face - thought it was a bit comical really and didn't play in too well with the film.
