Nice. You fool.
Only joking. How pissed off were you on scale of 1-10.
Total denial was my approach. telling myself that there's no way i could have been that stupid and that they were going to show up in my room somewhere or that when i went to herbal again they'd still have them. to be perfectly honest i'm still telling myself that and it happened in december.
denial folks - then you never have to deal with anything.
Love it.
Don't we all live in denial?

don't bitch about dmz once a month...turn down your mp3 players and don't have them on all day. the mp3 generation is going to be fucking deaf by 50. don't sleep. close proximity hearing damage (ie..ipod's on for hours) is just as bad as standing next to a wall of bassbins for a night.

yo deapoh... yours could be caused by a buildup of mucus in the middle ear - you can try holding your nose and carefully blowing so that the pressure in your ears alters... might help clear it.

the low frequnceys damage your hearing as they carry more energy
this energy makes the hair follicals less sensitive thos att of high frequnceys

I'm always amazed at how none of the bar staff / security people almost never wear hearing protection. Not only is it their responsibility to do so it is their employers responsibility to ensure they do so as well. Certainly it was well louder, by a long way, at mass the other week than anywhere at work where I am required to wear hearing protection.

I think hes quoting spinal tap... "this one goes to eleven"
Pneumatic drill = 100
Now I find those things bloody loud, just walking past them in the street and you can feel their mid range cutting into your ears... no bloody wonder that people are going deaf from ipod misuse if they are whacking it up to 100 decibels. Stupid buggers.

Marshall actually did make a special amp for one of the dudes from status quo that went up to 11. that's where it must have come from. i was reading an interview with them the other day.
he said, "yeah i have it but i'm not allowed use it any more".

Spinal Tap is where the 11 thing comes from, in a cultalral/ mass concious way. Might have been used before, don't know.
You have to see it. Big up

'This is Spinal Tap' was made as a pastiche of the pompous rock industry and all those in it, so copying Status Quo sounds about right.

i love that film! i was just pleased to find out where they got the 11 thing from. i think most of the jokes in that movie come from real life sex, drugs and rock'n'roll stories, or at least urban myths about real bands anyway.

Pleasing to see that people are conscious of the damage done by high volumes.
Used to get rinsed by mates for wearing plugs, now they've started buying them.
One mate rolls with his iPod on max, I can hear it comin out of his ears and he acts like there's nothin there.

if you really care about music then you look after your ears. mercifully it's much easier to do that with dubstep than with dnb.
