Couple reasons actually...
1, not EVERYONE and their grandmothers need to have the samples that a number of tracks are going to be created with.

2, I'd like to keep the number of entries to a reasonable number.

PS, the download total actually climbed to over 200 with all the private requests that were received.

right, ive ended up with 8 versions of my first attempt at this due to constant in where i wanted to go with it, but ive got one that i want to enter. my pc isnt too impressed with ableton/reason in rewire tho, gets to a certain point of tracks and effects and slows right up, time for an upgrade me thinks. so all i have left to do is work on each individual track in ableton to smooth a few things out.

damn good sample pack, i had really struggled of late to get much done production wise, to the point where i was becoming seriously disillusioned with it at times. so took a step back from it for about a month and im really pleased with what i have achieved thus far. goin away for a few days in the morning and i know all ill want to do is be back on the pc putting finishing touches to tune

Anyone use the piano chord sample? "Chord 2 B"...It's impossible to create any variation/progression w/out sounding out of key. And this is where I'm stuck. :u:
I have no such problem. I work with no keys.

in for the win....)
some stupid questions...
is it anonymous again?
and if not
is it allowed to upload tune when finished to myspace or sthg?

all the best to the other contenders and hxdb for putting the pack together...

^ there are no stupid question, only stupid answers

(hope I don't foul this up then  )

The entrants will be posted anonymously, yes. After the winner is announced the track's composers will be announced, also at that point, it'll be fine to post your works on myspace/virb etc.

Good luck! 8)

So far I've seen 8 entries, and they're all quite good! This is going to be an interesting contest to judge and I very much look forward to hearing more.

Good luck!
