The 1st radio play about grime/ dubstep ever

Post by dd_dubster » Mon Jul 17, 2006 2:58 pm

 Today there will be the wold premier of the 1st radio play ever about the hot topic of grime/ dubstep.

It is entitled: "Now it´s a time of change and the soundtrack is grime" and broadcasted in Dresden on 104,25 MHz and afterwards streamed and can be downloaded at: http://www.spur1-music.de.
It is intended to provide information about the scene in the Dresden area and East-Germany. Fully packed with interviews with different artists, such as N-Type or MC Halbgott, as well as with organizers of Grime/Dubstep events, like the (fabulous) FreakCamp crew.

We had the idea several months ago and started recording in may and now, after more than two months of hard work, it has reached the final level;)

Massive thanx 2 the whole FreakCamp crew, Halbgott and N-Type.....

Some words about the story:

A young man, DD_Dubster, discovers the universe of grime and dubstep and is suddenly addicted to those sounds. He decides to get some more information but this is not as easy as he thought. It is very hard to get information about this wicked mostly- UK-Based sound, especially in the deep south-east area he lives.
So he is looking for other grime/ dubstep addicts and finally finds one: György. And the two decide to go to Berlin in order to meet some people who could provide futher information to them. And finally they get in contact with the FreakCamp guys, N-Type and MC Halbgott.
These are the interviews which are broadcasted during the 2nd hour of the session.

Unfortunately the whole thing (except for the N-Type interview) is in German.....but anybody who is interested in these absolutely wicked sounds should feel free to listen to it `cos there is a lot of sound as well.

JUST CHECK IT OUT!
