Different track sound better/worse at different tempos depending upon how crowded/melodic/rythmic/heavy/dancefloor orientated etc, they are.

Experiment but keep it within 135>145 if you want DJs to mix it. Think we've had this question a few times before. :D

I've dropped things down to 130 for more chill tracks but usually operate at 140 to start and then see what it's saying at different tempos...seeing as everything gets pitched up/down in sets anyway things will get blurred....as narcossist says taking things too wild won't help a dj as a track at 130 will have to (roughly) pitched to +8 to mix in to a 140 track at 0.

140 bpm.

I'm not good enough at drum programming to make my tracks roll at 135 bpm.
have you got anything a bit more deep and spacey please...?

Been trying to get them to 140bpm, but I prefer the older dubstep speeds of 130-135 - think you have to keep it 140bpm with halfstep though as it's just terminally slow otherwise

A lot of beats just don't work at faster speeds I find
Hmm....

i'd usually work at 280, but produce the tune at 140
just so i can be a bit more creative with percussion

i work between 130 - 140 but (kion) Yard Music is almost 150. Magicite is 135 to fit in weirder off steps and sounds really "rushed" sped up, the more space you want between beats the slower you go (stating the obvious).

Genres of dance music always go through patches of speeding up and down depending on trend so don't worry about it i guess, just do what feels right

I'm glad this question came up, I work at 140Bpm, but always wondered if I should reduce a touch, and drop to about 135Bpm, thus giving cretain sounds, some hang-time.....................................
