That's in my pile of books that I picked up at the book store the other week, I thought if the Daily Telegraph thinks it's a load of shite then I might enjoy it.

for some reason, I've had a really *reeaaaalllly* rough time getting into House of Leaves but I've heard it was really worth the effort. Sorry I didn't scan the previous entries so I don't know if its been reviewed or not but...if anyone's read it, is it worth it? I try...I really do.....but for some reason, every time I get to around page 70 or so, I completely lose interest. But I've heard it was brilliant...and I'm lookin for something to do this weekend. Is it worth the trek? Thanks!

it was entertaining. a bit simply written (probably a book for kids and teens) but some of the ideas were really very interesting and original. i quite enjoyed it. recommend it as light and easy reading. probably good for travelling (kind of like watching a film).

Just started 'Tender Is The Night', hope it's as good as the Great Gatsby.

Yes, in my opinion. I agree it's not exactly the easiest but I reckon your perseverance will be rewarded (it usually is with books)
