One of the most horrific experiences of my life, but a lesson well learnt.felixGash wrote:Standing on my front porch, perched on the stairs with my macbook at nearly 1am waiting to be robbed using someone else's wi-fi to message mates on msn asking them to call other mates on my behalf (as I've been cut off by o2, and my battery on my phone is dead anyway) to ask them what the code for the alarm is at my house as I've just got here (to Leeds) and have set it off but don't know the code.
x 1 million.
*hugs* that sucks fg. is the alarm off now? unless there's a fat beat comin in, i hate the sounds of alarmsfelixGash wrote:One of the most horrific experiences of my life, but a lesson well learnt.felixGash wrote:Standing on my front porch, perched on the stairs with my macbook at nearly 1am waiting to be robbed using someone else's wi-fi to message mates on msn asking them to call other mates on my behalf (as I've been cut off by o2, and my battery on my phone is dead anyway) to ask them what the code for the alarm is at my house as I've just got here (to Leeds) and have set it off but don't know the code.

Twenty minutes of piercing alarm, a random dude with an afro and laptop sat on the front steps at 1am, and not a single person gave two shits! Ah, good old studentified areas.

Oh boy, just a week ago I was breaking into my workroom for almost two hours, using a hammer, two chisels, plenty of force and making a really big noise at about 5 pm. No one showed up, although it was in a place full of other working spaces and, supposedly, equipped in cctv. Found my keys in the grass two hours after breaking the lock too :/felixGash wrote:One of the most horrific experiences of my life, but a lesson well learnt.felixGash wrote:Standing on my front porch, perched on the stairs with my macbook at nearly 1am waiting to be robbed using someone else's wi-fi to message mates on msn asking them to call other mates on my behalf (as I've been cut off by o2, and my battery on my phone is dead anyway) to ask them what the code for the alarm is at my house as I've just got here (to Leeds) and have set it off but don't know the code.

Yeah it's finally off. Got my ma to call my housemate's girlfriend to ask her if she knew the code, but she didn't, but luckily my housemate who I though was off traveling around Europe isn't, and was with her so it got sorted. Been such a long day too, didn't need this. But hey, we're good now. =]bellybelle wrote:*hugs* that sucks fg. is the alarm off now? unless there's a fat beat comin in, i hate the sounds of alarmsfelixGash wrote:One of the most horrific experiences of my life, but a lesson well learnt.felixGash wrote:Standing on my front porch, perched on the stairs with my macbook at nearly 1am waiting to be robbed using someone else's wi-fi to message mates on msn asking them to call other mates on my behalf (as I've been cut off by o2, and my battery on my phone is dead anyway) to ask them what the code for the alarm is at my house as I've just got here (to Leeds) and have set it off but don't know the code.
