also interesting to see the switch to Dubplates & Mastering for the cut, sounds great. Can't think of another dubstep 12" I've heard that was mastered there.

I have to say that this type of Dubstep has been growing on me, although some is just too minimal and close to techno 'You & I' strikes the perfect ground. This is an eyeshutter for sure, deep like the ocean.

This is exactly what I love about mixing Dubstep. Mixing some of those tunes on the minimal/techno vibe with some 1/2 steppers & vice-versa makes for a really good and interesting programming. I actually passed out a mix last weekend containing all Dubstep tunes on the Reggae influenced tip and a the CD said DUBSTEP but I still had a couple people say thanks for the Reggae mix.
As long as people bump it and like it I guess it doesn't matter what it's called.
