Hi Dubstepforum.

This is my first post so I thought I'd introduce myself.

I'll be honest I'm a big drum and bass head but over the last year I've slowly started developing a taste for dubstep.

I currently run a drum and bass night down in Camden at the Oh bar called Fizzy Friday. The nights been going for 3 years now. We always kick start the night with a alternative music style, Garage, Hip-hop and a bit of dubstep. This has kick started my liking for dubstep.

I thought it would be nice to do a mix with a few tracks by myself which you can download here:
http://www.fizzyliquid.com/news.php?id=49

GUILTY - MR JOSEPH
12 PLANET - SWITCH & TONKA
KINETIC SELASSIE - MODIFIED MOTION

DEEP CONCENTRATION - SKREAM
KILLA ABOUT - BENGA
NIGHT - BENGA
PUNISHER - LOEFAHS SE25 REMIX
BLIPSTREAM - SKREAM
DEXTERITY OF DUB
DIGITAL - DUBSTATION X
HIGH IS THE LIMIT - KROMESTAR
HARD CONTROL - FORMULA

Hey all, joined here a few days ago and its like coming home.

Been obsessed with music from my early teens, used to love hip hop, but as time went on the sound became really overproduced and boring and without any depth in my eyes.

When I was around 16 I started really gettin into garage, especially the newer darker sounds like 'I Will Not Lose' and 'Eskimo' by Wiley. I bought a pair of decks when I was 18 and have been addicted to buying records n spinning them ever since. I just bought the songs that made me exclaim, cos they were so good. I was buying 'garage' records, but now everything's a different genre (old school, grime, dubstep).

Still love buying and playing all these songs, but find grime's gone a bit too aggressive. Always loved dubstep before i knew what it was called. Loved tunes like Pathways by Digital Mystikz and Bad Mood by Darqwan back in the day, still spin them now.

Anyways that's me.

Subscribe to my blog for free, It's just a place for me to upload a wide variety of mixes I've done for your listening pleasure.

Safe.

Hi everyone, I have been listening to dubstep for just over a year now but have never posted on dubstepforum so I thought I should put at stop to that now.

I just finished school so I’m currently working and then travelling in the New Year.
I also write for a blog called Better Never Than Late and have done so for just coming up to a year now.
For an idea of what it is like I have taken this description clean from our myspace www.myspace.com/bntl

"BNTL is a collective of like minded creators, united under the umbrella of arts, with the objective of expanding that umbrella to unprecedented heights (and widths).
Initially established as an amateur-esq source of cutting edge information and an outlet of creative doings, BNTL has now evolved into something of a UK figurehead, representing all corners of this sacred isle and covering subject matter ranging from the four founding elements of hip hop to the sad state of the consumerist west and its products"

I hope it is of some interest.

what's up dubsteppers... my name is Mark and I'm relatively new to the dubstep community. I've been DJing breaks and house for about three years now and I was becoming very dismayed and bored with the electronic music scene until I got turned on to dubstep recently and now I can't get enough of it. I hope to get to know you all better from here on out and I'm looking forward to soon being able to contribute to the music myself. Cheers.

im currently spending most of my time failing my degree while bouncing along to the spetic sounds of dubstep & d&b
i'd love to say i can spin & produce, but thats just lies. boppin in the croud ftw.

thank god for the forum & barefiles.

Sup yo, this is Red One, from BULGARIA

I am generally a beatboxer, but I love dubstep, so I started live dubstep project: live looped beatbox, plus synths and bass that I made personally :)
This project is still new, but with some bright future, so yeah, hope everyone's gonna enjoy it:)

Cheers

whats up every body? I've been spinning hardstyle for almost 3 yrs now, and haven't REALLY like a beat under 140 bpm in a long time! last couple months I have really been digging deeper into the dubstep sound. ATM I'm trying to learn all I can about producers & labels(and this definitely seems like the place for that.) I would like to order my first set of dubstep vinyl in the not to distance future. hopefully within the next couple weeks.

Waum Steppers

I'm a new cat to the Dubstep game, i've been burried under a rock for 3 years or something.

Really feeling the vibe, i've been binging on dubstep ever since i heard Burial's album the other week. I think im in love.

All about hearing Groove Chronicles - Stone Cold in the Generation Bass set the other on Radio 1 - orginal EL-B tune, monster bassline!

Errm, my myspace is www.myspace.com/mitchiemac if anyone wants to have a look around

My PSN ID is mitchiemac if anyone wants to get beaten by me on the PS Triple ;)
