Hot Grime MC Mixtapes/Albums - recommendations ?

Post by ekstrak » Sun Aug 03, 2008 6:47 pm

Looking out for some new bits on grime scene.. last thing i picked up which i liked was Skepta's album. Feel like i'm out of the loop... Rinse play so little grime these days i'm missing my feed.

Anyone got some recommendations ? Tootsi .. whats in yer bag mate ?

Wanna hear some grime, lock into rinse now, Tubby and Footsie tearing it up.

As for recent mixtapes I'd say RIP Young Dot is worth a cop.

Tubby plays dubstep 98% of the time though

Grime Wave!?

it's shit mate, don't get that, not a great representation of Wiley, if you wanna hear him at his best then check out Roll Deep radio shows, and the tunnel vision mix tapes.

Don't get the Tunnel Visions, most of them have too much shit on them. Local Lad and Grime Kid are good but the rest of Grime Wave doesn't sounds too impressive. Yeah Axiom is of course amazing but he asked for newer things so I didn't mention it, there should be a lot coming out in September I'd imagine.
