I'm a little late on responding to this string, but compared to the Silent Hill series Resident Evil 4 is nursery school. There's blood, but not many scares - the zombies exist as things for you to shoot, not to frighten you. Fantastic game. Between my husband and I we've finished it 7 times.

I have. Only once though, and I'm back in Leeds for a week with the PS3 in London so won't be on til next week!

I wouldn't go so far as to say Resi was like "nursery school" compared to SH. They're essentially two different experiences, with SH relying more on the minimalist, atmospheric approach and Resi going all out with the shocks and the gore.

I love them both though, and can't wait for SH5 and Resi 5.. though Resi 5 I'm a bit more excited about!

star wars fanboys buy blind very often so i imagine it will help shift units.

Belle, what you talking about girl.. I'm pretty certain Talim is in SC4! You have to unlock her (well, "buy" her using the gold you earn playing).

Darth Vizzle has actually proved to be a bloody good character! He's got moves and ain't half bad, trust.

Just bought me a Wii.

I've two essays due in for tuesday and my habit of finding myself distractions led me to buying a whole new console. Yeahhh...

Anyway, they're £150 (including Wii Sports) at Asda Living branches, wicked price I thought! Got me Mario Kart too, and I've ordered Resi 4 (even though I've got it on PS2!) off ebay, and I'm looking to get Mario and Zelda. Oh yeah, also bought Harvest Moon (couldn't help myself!) this afternoon.

Gamecubes rock. I'm ebaying for a few games I didn't ever get, hopefully find some cheap. My GC is NTSC, as are all my games, so I can't play them on my Wii.

i was cleaning my room yesterday and decided to pack my ps2 away as it was just collecting dust. i had a vacant space under the tv so decided to bring out my n64. i now have a n64/cube/wii combo in effect and tempted to bring out my snes for effect (um, sony ftw?!?). original n64 smash bros is the pinnacle of the series tbh. will get out the other games over the coming days/weeks. i think a classic Rare games rinse is in order; jet force gemini; banjo kazooie; perfect dark; goldeneye (sheeet, how fuckin sick were rare back in the day!!)
