there's a load of recommendations in this thread http://www.dubstepforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=54289

and *plug alert* if you're feeling this kind of sound then i'm doing a wonky hip hop show on streamizm on monday at 8pm GMT

I normally would not recommend Jeezy, but his new single reminds me of hip hop ten years ago.

i'm guessing dubstep forum doesn't have the [youtube] tag.

tons of dope new Hiphop nowadays...

always is.... just gotta dig...

even semi mainstream stuff is really fresh again..

new krs is dope... new immortal technique is dope... new nas is dope...

NYC underground is fresh

west coast underground is fresh...

down south underground is fresh....

just keep hunting, youll find something...

look for these names...

orko eloheem, odessa kane, labtekwon, brother ali, shapeshifters, 2mex, grouch (his latest album is fantastic), scarub, big juss etc etc etc...

oh cant forget my embedded music fam, and especially my bredren Bisc1's new album... When Electric Night Falls... also check for Junk Science, Cool Calm Pete, Loer Velocity...

other NYC underground cats like Jake Lefco, Ill Spokin, Hired Gun, Homeboy Sandman, the list goes on and on...

shit, i dunno yo, i seem to find myself at really dope Hiphop shows a couple times a week... nowadays it really is alot about the live performance, so get out there and try to see some live shows, and you may fall in love with some new sounds...

Thanks. Though, not sure whether to take it as a compliment on my mix, or negative feedback on the tracklisting.

I've heard really good stuff about the new Vast Aire, not had a chance to peep it yet.

The upcoming Large Professor sounds really good too.
