NEW SEASON-New Champions?!

Post by ct&d » Thu Aug 14, 2008 10:23 am

With the Premiership season two days away its time to start the gossip..

so what are everyone's predictions for the top 5 spots in the league??

and who's going down to the Championship??

Personally im a big Chelsea fan (& proud of it :!: ) so my verdicts an easy one;

1. CHELSEA
2. Man United
3. Arsenal
4. Spurs
5. Liverpool

& relegation to;

Stoke, Hull & West Ham :lol:

hmmm, i think this season is gonna be even tighter than last season!
I still think man u will take away the title, but if they get hit by an injury or two then i can see chelsea nicking it. Im not sure about the arse, i think theyve got a slight problem with the lack of experience this season, but wenger always manages to work miracles so we'll wait and see.
I can see liverpool challenging a lot more this year as well, and im very excited to see the keane-torres combo upfront!
As long as the toon dont fuck up too much im fine 8)

Liverpool didnt look too good yesterday,
Standard Liege ripped u lot off the park!!

Cant see Torres + Keane living up to expectations since Gerrard likes to play off the striker more than anywhere else. :|
Benitez has gota sort tings out!

I'm nearly wept with joy when I saw that you actually put Villa in there as a feasible option. You, sir, are a legend.

It's GSOH badger. I thought that after years of trawling 'Men seeking men', you'd have figured that by now.

arsenal didn't impress me too much during the amsterdam tournament,
for the final game they fielded a team with an average age of just 19!
i do know the AT isn't a good insight to how a teams prep went over the summer... but the didn't seem to be working as a unit. some of the younger players looked a little out of their depth imo.

a very close season ahead, i think.

arsenal
man utd
liverpool
top 3, wouldn't put money on who'd take the title tho'
