maybe get a couple of a'b'c' and ur straitwhat usually happens is mixing in the corner then the realisation of how battered i am and a cd quickly follows suite. I do love mixin when fcukedm, something to be said about a dj who understands where te party is at mentally....
i have a irresistable urge to mix when i get in, but quickly realise (or am told) that i am way to fucked.
Always the sign of a good afterparty that actually tops the main event.DeepThought wrote:was freakin heavy - i might've enjoyed it more than the actual night!
I used to hold loads of after parties in my student days inviting anything up to 50-70 people back to mine. I feel guilty about the neighbours when I think back to it. Our neighbours on one street had a vendetta against us because of it. Stupid fuckers never thought to getting environmental health on the case though. They'd just rock up at my door at 7 in the morning gunning for a fight
Happy days. Though the key is to knowing when the party is over. It can go from being the best place in the world to a messy den where you don't really know anyone, you're miles away from bed and they're all full of ket.
