Its ended up with that response because every time one of the ladies looks at her screen, FUCKING WOMEN comes up, which is an insult before you even look into the thread.

If you have a lamentation about a certain woman, fine. But if you're gonna be brazen enough to slander an entire gender so that each time anyone looks, thats whats seen, then thats where the insult comes.

I don't think you understand how much women overlook just being here. There is an entire thread devoted to the depreciation of women, no matter how its entitled. Posting an innocuous picture leaves women prey to criticism, judgment, and devaluation; which is largely overlooked. We overlook all the comments that our fellow ninjas make reducing women to basically pockets for cocks. Insulted on intelligence and appearance on a regular basis that are strictly, though subtle to men, focused towards women.

And you don't even have to read the thread to get the insult. So instructing people "Don't read it if you don't wanna deal" doesn't even apply.


I can call a thread LITTLE DICK BROKE ASS MOTHERFUCKERS and on the inside say, "Oh not you ninjas though." Whether or not you choose read the thread, any time you wanna check on potatoes or footie or what people are doing at that point in time, thats what you see.

And I don't understand that reaction, tbh. So many people grief about the inability to say what they feel because feelings get hurt. Equally so are the joys expressed in watching drama.

this is all being taken rather seriously, and the hot-girl appreciation thread is and appreciation thread (tho I have to admit some do get derogatory which spoils it but I see it mostly as a celebration of the womanly form). don't think you would have many people complaining if you made a thread entitled Men are pricks, in-fact it is a statement that I have seen bounded about a bit previously. It is something that happens quite naturally when someone has pissed you off and you don't understand them...I would be surprised if bellybelle or nesslie havn't used such sweeping remarks before, or even recently, correct me if I am wrong.

i'm all for equal oppurtunities for women but militant feminism (which thankfully seems to mostly belong to an older generation and fading out) does nothing to further the cause, in fact it does the exact opposite. fighting against an oppressor which in this case doesn't exist (but of course unfortunately it still does in other areas) and acting like a victim when you aren't one isn't exactly helping the feminist cause

Oh no eLBe you're absolutely right. But...the thing is, if I know its offending a group of people and that wasn't my intention, I do my part to clarify.

trouble is badger that sexism has been around for a long long time, it is innate it almost all cultures, include ours, it is still there whether you see it or not and often militant feminism is only seen as militant because it points out sexism in places where people like you and me think there are none, it makes you feel uncomfortable that you do not see the sexism, it highlights you own failing which often leads to rejection.
