Just picked up a couple of copies of this on vinyl. "Park Mist" is one of the most astonishing tracks I've heard for months and months. It has the same urgent forward momentum of "Quagmire" by Future Sound of London, but with a kind of creepy funk danger threaded through it, along with that all-pervading bass and even some electro elements thrown into the mix. Fuck knows what section this is gonna get put in - but the cover art alone means it should be displayed prominently in every shop it finds its way to. Monumental release - if their next is half as good as this, Test Conditions are definitely a label to watch.
