Send me a track?

Post by myka » Sun Aug 17, 2008 2:21 am

I'm trying to figure out music production having nothing to ride on. I'm getting Reason and Ableton soon, but for now I'm just screwing around in a Trial version of Fruity Loops. Since it's a trial version, I can't watch the demo videos. I'm struggling because I don't know what a track looks like on a program like this. Can someone send me some random dubstep track that will play in Fruity Loops so I can see how it's made up? If you're willing, PM me and I will send you my email addy. Cheers!

Thanks! I have been watching a lot of the stuff on YouTube, but the videos are so blurry they are hard to follow... :| that's why I'm hoping someone's willing to send me a track so I can decypher it. :)

I would just download the demo of a program you are going to get (REASON has online beginners videos for FREE on it's site.. of good quality aswell. Also don't expect to just suddenly know everything!

Haha! The more I figure out, the more I realise there IS to figure out! I'm finding that out REAL quick! ;)

Ya, I need something better than this Demo version of Fruity Loops...I can't even save any work I do or view any of the demo guide videos...so it's nearly useless, other than just screwing around learning about it.

My main issue right now is that I can't figure out how to get more sounds on the Step Sequencer. I don't even have a snare at this point!

just play around with everything on it so you find out more about it then when you buy it you know what most of the stuff is for, just search the net and watch videos to learn more about it
