actually i thought it was quite obvious who would be loefah's choice. oneman plays lots of old dmz stuff in his sets, he has played few times at dmz, one is on loefah's best friends list on myspace, oneman has loefah dubs like midnight and encona (or whatever it's called) and i don't think many people has those etc.. but yeah, this is going to be huge!

we recorded a devastating Generation Bass session at Maida Vale last night.. a thrilling glimpse of the future for this sound..

the artists who played have pure love and maximum respect from me..
Silkie & Quest, Kulture, Joker & Nomad, Starkey, Chef, Oneman and Cyrus

it was a serious challenge to follow Dubstep Warz.. but all the DJs came with such deeply inspirational new sounds... they clearly and brilliantly chartered their own new terrain...

you can hear it Tuesday nite >> Wednesday morning
2am-4am

Groundbreaking

Post by deckgeneral » Sun Aug 17, 2008 4:52 pm

I am sure from what Mary Anne is saying this will be truly as groundbreaking as dubstep warz and open up the sound to everyone that missed the excitement of the first documentary when broadcast live.

There is nothing like being at the forefront of a scene at it's inception, and watching it catch on with fans.

I was working in A&R at the inception of a tiny house scene in the UK, no one wanted to know, Tny clubs, a handful of DJ's and labels, and a small army of dedicated fans, we had bo internet so it was harder to expose the sound, but it truly is a global sound now, for good or bad, and mostly bad nowadays.

Dubsteb is an underground gem, that has flourished by itself withhout media hype and is growing in its own way... the future is ours... the future is dubstep in 2009

Ez peeps, hope you enjoy my 15 minute segment, it didn't go exactly as hoped.. the aim was to cover the different styles and flavours you would normally get in one of my sets or across a whole night in general but condensed into only 15mins with something for everyone., all the steps.

Big up and enjoy the show guys and gals!!!
