This thread entertained me, anyway. I've read every post.

Everyone's got their own tastes... I do sometimes find myself scratching my head at DMZ when it seems like the whole place is going nuts over a tune that I don't find particularly interesting. And then it gets 5 rewinds, when I just want them to play something else! :?

Not the middle of it, no.

If I have a problem I am not want to sit and cry about it though. Every village has their idiots. The question becomes what to do about them.

I'm not a big fan of Vex'd myself. I liked their productions, but I saw them doing an Ableton set that was truly lackluster. Frankly, if you can produce tunes and not mix them properly with even Ableton I cannot rate you. Luckily they haven't really released anything in a couple of years. This makes it less likely I will have to eat my words.

I don't like tunes that are all LFO wobble. Basically any wobble. It sounds good when combined with garage rimshots and whatnot, but when you make it halfstep and slow the pace down to a crawl, it all becomes pretty shit. So more or less the entire Industrial Step that has been coming out. Almost every tune from the Stateside in the last... uh, since dubstep formed. There have been a few gems among them.

I don't think anyone should be able to use the LFO other than... LFO.

Want some SERIOUS lessons in bass, everyone run and grab LFO - LFO on Warp.

Look at the date it was made... look at the date it currently is. Is this Evolution or something else?

What a bad joke. This thread is waste, all could have been avoided if mcbredhead had rephrased his original question
Don't talk to me about soundsystems, I've been to Leeds...

word. there`s loads of average/poor stuff on the market, sure thing, but let`s just keep praising all the good stuff, so if some tunes or producers doesn`t get the big ups and praises, then u can read something between the (unwritten) lines..
