malstrom is fun if u wana make some wobbly bits but i still rinse the subtractor...

sometimes i chuck a couple of bits from malstrom with subtractor into the combinator n get some real funky synths

automation is my friend

You don't sound lame, I wonder that all the time!

I used to use cubase, but I've recently made a switch to renoise as my host program. As for plugins, I have a ton of them... I mostly use reaktor tho, all the rest are freeware and have limited applications.

Renoise here too.

It's your ideas that make a track good at the end of the day, not what you use to sequence in. :D:

I used Reason since version 1. Been using Ableton for the last month tho. I won't be going back.

I'm on Reason 3/Reaper + a few choice VST's.

------------------------------------------------------

Regarding Reason, I find the Malstrom way better for creating basses as the mod envelope/lfo's are more useful than those on the Subtractor.

I have no problems getting absolutely filthy basslines in Reason. The key is to use multiple Combinators playing the same bassline ;)

Started with FL 3, then Reason 3, then got sucked into Live for 3-4 years.

Nowadays found myself frustrated with Ableton, in a way that, all the techniques that i developed are limiting me to the same sound and production methods.

Looking for something new.. maybe will try renoise

FL8, should really get the upgrade to 10 when I get around to sorting my new studio machine.
