I feel the same way....I did some research on the matter and found out that they're associated with the orb and KLF. Certainly a unique style. Love me some Moody Boys.....

started off my mix with one of theirs....check it

Been buying Tony Thorpe's tunes since I was a kiddywink - he is the beating heart of UK bass. Koro Koro, Free, Funky Zulu, the What Time Is Love remix... he started it all off for me!

Tony Thorpe

I knew Tony Thorpe even before that, he was in Experimental Brit Band "400 Blows" and had an electro type indie hit with Movin, must be listed on discogs, wikipedia etc.

His sister in fact came to my wedding, he was a friend of a friend, and i knew Tony , when he worked mailing records out for Republic Records, (Dave Lee / Joey Negro) and I worked at Jack Trax, back in the day, we used to chat when i went to Republic to see Dave Lee.

Tony is a thoroughly Nice Guy and deserves success, he has been at this longer than most people, and although programming beats for KLF and Orb, probably was his biggest earner, he has always shyed away from the quick easy success side, preferring to beaver away on the eclectic edges, and experiment.

Yeah, another long-time fan here. Milk & Honey was a pleasant surprise.

Tony's other alias of note is Wayward Soul, and he has been in with Si Begg & others of the Underground Breaks persuasion for some time- he released a few 12" EPs of their tracks back in 2001, and heard some outstanding non-commercial Breakbeat mixes from him dating around that time too.
