Shonky - Filter Skank [Narcossist remix]

Post by narcossist » Fri Jul 28, 2006 3:40 pm

Ez all,

First off yet more apologies for not commenting on everyones tunes, will do it now.

Secondly posting this track might seem a bit weird cos Shonky's original hasn't been yet aired publicly [to my knowledge], that said the mans cool with this being up ere and no doubt his version will appear at somepoint in the next few weeks. He's also done a wicked sounding garage[y] remix of my Hermits track so that'll be about soon too. Soundin like a fookin press release this. Nuff bollocks here's the track:

edit: link down check shonkys soundclick link further down thread 8)

Have yet to give it a final mixdown, any comments are much appreciated. thanks.

Ah, niceness. Me original mix will be appearing as soon as I finishes it, along with the Hermits remix.

Must be one of the reasons I don't bother with job interviews -

"And how are do you manage your workload"

"Well, I start something, then carry on until I can't figure out where to go with it, and then start something else or chat bollocks on dubstep forum or watch South Park. Then I go back to it, add a few ill-fitting sounds, and then scrap them, and then maybe start something else, etc, etc"

"Hmmmnnnn....could you please fuck off and ask the next person in?"

"This is a no isn't it"

"WOULD YOU PLEASE FUCK OFF!!!"
Hmm....

nice one! heavy bassline, nice samples/synth work out, and a cool summer vibe!

really crisp soundin drums... sub is nice and deep with a flowing melody

key change works well - you dont hear them much in dubstep!

thanks for the comments, really appreciated. given the average cumbrian's idea of leftfield music is anything that doesn't get in the top ten i've got no one to play things to apart from on here.

i'll get it mixed soon and send a 320 to anyone who wants a copy. peace
