i personally don't think crazy is the best mc, but i respect him. in addition to every single dj who has chosen to work with him. RESPECT!
what is it with people who think you've gotta write amazin tunes or spit wild lyrics before you can proffer an opinion? wise up man, you've prob neva even seen him live, who are YOU to tell us whether he's good or not?
anyways, without Crazy D there would be no Ongy Bongy.

gotta gets me one of them bro! i miss the ongy bongy
i know what you sayin tho, hes been usin the same phrases for some years now, but thats what he mostly uses catchphrases as apposed to lyrics.. weirdly that used to annoy me but now i like em..
when he does rhyme hes got good flow, im crap at pullin out actual lyrics but he rides riddims, and adds flavour to a set. but best of all he dont just shout some shit about bein bad all the time, he has a laugh and draws for the ladies..

"A-You What"............."WOOOW...WOOOW...WOOOOOOOOOOW"
If there was no Crazy at fwd it wouldn't be as good, and its not like he actually spits much at all........he is more like the rave narrator!
Big and small ways everytime.
Whats this Ongy Bongy business about?

ongy bongy is top secret - you'll have to find out for yourself.
truesay bout FWD tho - first time I went I thought he was superb, the only MC i've ever seen/heard in any scene where he actually knows the names of a lot of the tunes/dubplates and lets you know - so helpful when I was first goin in 03/04, we didn't get many releases at all down Bristol way so I found out the names of a lot of stuff just off of Crazy.

I don't have to have lyrics to have an opinion. Thats ridiculous!!!!!
Let me give you a tissue to wipe your tears

well you don't have to agree with MY opinion. but i still get one. it goes both ways kimosabe.
i didn't say you had to have lyrics to have an opinion, i'm just saying that bashing crazy isn't gonna accomplish anything.

He's not bashing him he's trying to encourage him.
All I know is that ''woah woah woah'' makes every tune sound better.

To me it does yeah
Except Gregorian chant tunes, which sound better with ''Semi automatic blap blap blap''

Hearing Crazy D takes me back to the first time I ever heard this music - so his trademarks have taken on some kinda nostalgia. The guy is on it ! and he always looks like he's having a great time. He is more about the crowd and the vibe they are on, and less about his own ego. Which is always a good ting where mc's are concerned.. ?

agreed, he has a repertoire of like 6 or 7 phrases and like 3 or 4 spits....the whoa whoa whoa's are more like no no no's, at last DMZ i heard him throw it down about 10 times in the opening minutes of skream vs. hatcha...made me and the lads leave it got so unbearable!
pokes works it, he keeps the tracks jumping without trying...a true master of ceremonies
do..t....gn..on..the dot..d line...
