love wine!
its the most amazing thing ever! A few glasses while your cooking after work, couple of bottles with the missus, also the best thing to drink in clubs with overpriced bottles of beer, usually the same for a large glass of white as a little teeny bottle of beer,
can get dangerous tho, and its not about house red wine from clubs unless you like your mornings with a nice dose of pain.

I have so many good and bad memories of wine. Why does it give you killer hangovers though, makes me feel horrid the next day.

i find that white wine, with increased amount of sulphates (or is it sulphites?) will give me a massive headache in a matter of a few hours.gwa wrote:I have so many good and bad memories of wine. Why does it give you killer hangovers though, makes me feel horrid the next day.
red wine, on the other hand, gives me no hangover, unless i drink more than a bottle in one evening.
This is broad though, i've had some pretty nasty pinots before - but they were oh, so good! It helps to have a stepsister that lives in sonoma
Red wine gives me the worst hangover, mixing different wines made me feel suicidal. Its not the stomach feeling but the pounding headache that does it for me.

They no longer serve cider. Just leaves tequilla or bianco.wrote:nice move on the zed bias choice. my fam is in manly and parramatta (i think that's where my aunty is at least) so i would be visiting them before coming out to get drunk with you at the gig if i were there. hehe.
And there'll be too many lounges to dance, or so I heard.![]()
I'll mind a spot for your light body but I can't do anything for your family if they've become Manly fans.
That's strange you say that, generally red wine has much much more sulphites than white (excluding american chardonnays which are so heavy)Misk wrote:

I love both red and white wine. Try exploring non-american chardonnays. Sicilian Chardonnays, for example are far more drinkable. I can stand the americans. Vinho Verde (portugese) is extremely drinkable and (good ones) should leave you hangoverless. The trader Joe's stuff is mediocre at best.
I can't drink red in the summer. Whites and sparkling whites preferred.
[an exception: BONNARDA, I love the stuff. Sparkling Italian Red, so refreshing chilled]
