so you already have the korg?
that thing sounds pretty wicked... no problem with using that at all!

i use an Echo MIA 24/96 card from 2002 and it has a really great DAC. no complaints here. the drivers are SOLID and the support is excellent.

an Echo AudioFire is in my future for live PA.

(apogee makes some of the BEST DACs on the market today)

I'd say go apogee or RME if it's really a high priority, otherwise the m-audio boxes are pretty cheap these days and work for tons of producers that release tunes.

Yesyes! wicked little thing! Perfect for doing mixtapes . . .
Been talking about getting this korg used from a friend many years now and I finally managed to get there . . .

my first mixtape on it here . . .

is there anything other than latency which is a problem with firewire / usb soundcards?
