Just re-listened to that N-Type show back in january, february or something and been wondering if there are any artists producing some beats and pieces with that Balkan gipsy flex, yeah, love the balkan flavours, eastern grooves... sounds sick with some serious bass pressure.
If anyone can recommend some names doing some crazy things i would be thankful. thanks in advance ladies and gentlemen.
Bring up the Balkanarama folklore orkestra!

Suddenly, there was a terrible roar all around us, and the sky was full with what looked like huge bats, all swooping and screeching and diving around the car, and a voice was screaming:
Holy Jesus. What are these goddamn animals?

Definitely BBB, noticed that, listened to them live this summer and it was such a party! Also listened to Emir Kusturica and his No Smoking Orchestra and it was like the perfect debauchery, nuts.
Still in the same tip as Balkan Beat Box there's one of my fave's producers when comes to discuss this kind of grooves, Shantel (aka Bucovina Club), downtempo, breaks stuff, not that pulsating though electronic music. So i am looking for some new stuff to put it all together with some older tunes.
There are also a nice compilation titled Electric Gypsyland that has some nice things. Ok, back to the fat business discussion...

don't have a link for it but the Kush Arora & Dub Gabriel remix of Balkan Beat Box's "hermetico" is really wicked.

yes, this tune is so good.. one of the best songs of balkan beat box, for sure.
but it was a remix of that song that N type introduced in his mix, not the original version. I passed time searching infos bout this remix, but I've never found nothing..
