all i know about electro is noisia's label Division is the BEES KNEES

and spor who turns everything he touches to gold does a pretty good job of the slow stuff

i don't really like the tunes on that myspace but his tune Mordez Moi (on noisia's new fabriclive) is the CATS PYJAMAS
i'm not even sure if any of this actually does come under electro.. help please

Its become too commercial.juliun_c90 wrote:the term electro used to mean something to me. now i never know what the fuck people are referring to when they use it.
The stuff from a few years ago was ten times better, this album is good, just excuse some of the commercial tunes on there: http://www.ministryofsound.com/Music/Al ... roTech.htm

To me "electro" is an adjective now, not a genre.
Electro Bass, Electro House, Electro Funk, Electro Breaks, Electrocore, Electroclash, Electro Pop, Electro whatever...
The real problem purists seem to have is when people drop the "house" from the end of Electro House and just call it Electro. But like I said, I think Electro is an adjective used to describe the sounds in the music...
In many peoples opinions the only real "electro" is Kraftwerk; everything else is an off-shoot...
