Granted, but anaesthetic can affect concentration and therefore accuracy, needed for data entry.

Just get a sling and say you fell when you was dizzy from the operation. Add extra emphasis on blood loss.

I worked through a break yesterday, 15mins
Miss lunch and second break today 1hr15mins
I was delayed at work for 20 mins day before last

total 1hr 50 mins

then I wasa late yesterday morning by 10 mins and this morning by 5

total 1hr 35mins

so I'll owe 25 mins....hardly worth coming in for realy....might put this to him and say I'll make it up next week.

bloody fridays, had to wait for almost 1/2 hour at the dentists coz he was running late, might make a point of this coz they would have charged me if I turned up that late.

also found out that a filling is no good, now need root canal and cap, totaling just over a 1k. mother fucker.

Went for lunch at 12:30pm, couple of bottle of wines, pork knuckle, bramley, toast, veal schnitzel, ice cream and sorbet later..I stroll back into the office at about 4:15pm...
