pinch was good,
deapoh was good,
Digital mystiks & Loefah were sick,
Kultures tunes are fiyah,
Hijak was immense, all about the jungle man was feelin that one!

However its not about the funky, really really wasnt feeling kode9's set at all, just dont like the funky housey bizness.

All in all good night, sick vibes and i was mashed so :W:

Oh and what prey tell was that tune that pinch dropped with the mad thumping bass! it was like a synth and about 5 or 6 hard bass hits! fucking SIIIIIICK! went fuckin nuts when that tune dropped! standard reload!

oh and lol @ the nutters at the front that almost broke the mixer at the start of loefah! haha

SIICK NIGHT. really reminds me why dmz is the premier night for dubstep.

best set of the night for me was KULTURE! if your reading, u absolutely smashed it with that selection! feelin all the different styles. also what was the name of the tune that opened the set? that maaaaad stomper lol. ive got a dirty video of that but i locked it off after the first wheel cos i was too busy skankin. now i wish i got more of that tune so i could listen back to more of it lol.

also DMZ vs Loefah was baaanging as expected. i thought they might of played more classical stuff but all the new stuff their pushing is still dark to the core, proper brockin business the whole set lol.

Pinch was SICK, playin the deep n dark! out to you sir!

Hijak aswell, the mixing was tooo much then to bring in the jungle was nuts!

also im nt sure if i heard wrong, but was d double der? im sure i herd a lyric ere or 2, or maybe i was imagining that in the state i was in.

BIG NIGHT!!!

i arrived just after Deapoh's set so i missed that unfortunately...

Pinch was straight ill...deep, dark, heavy vibes...

Digital Mystikz & Loefah smashed it...the place was rocking during their set as usual...

Kode 9 was dope IMO...nice switch up in the music...interesting selections...and the second half of his set in particular was REAL good...tight, progressive mixing style...

Kulture's selection was...as expected...supreb...big him up...i heard on MAH's Generation Bass show that he has only been dj'ing for a couple months or something...

Hijak...BOY!!! BIG UP HIJAK!!! rounded things off nicely...probably the set of the night for me...mixing was TIGHT and his selection was spot on...so many bangers...i swear 'Eastern Jam' got wheeled up at least three times...haha...and then the 15-20 minutes of jungle at the end...amazing stuff...

also big up Sgt. Pokes...as usual...he smashed it during Hijak's jungle selection...

oh and big up all the guys asking for 40p or a cigarette outside as usual...your time...

excellent zed once again, out to uncle Dowee, and the Reading crew that were about, and all i stopped to catch up with inside....

Big up Deaps dropping some oldies.. warmed things up nicely

Pinch brough absolute trenchfoot business, deeper set

DMZ/Loefah were hype, sick selection of tunes, Play Doe went offfffffff

Missed most of the funky due to smoking, but Kode kept it interesting after that

Kulture, big up on your debut bro, fully reppin for herts/beds/bucks haha
wicked set, tunes went off, and a nice diverse typa set..

Jakal really rewarded the stamina crew with a sick set and junglist rinseout..

another solid zed, bring come the next one!

Not my favourite dmz by a long shot, but still some huge stuff from kode/pinch, and of course dmz. Starting to count the dmz slot as a time to pop out for a quick smoke these days, but I couldn't bring myself to leave! Loefahs first tunes just brung it. Big.

I was really hoping for some garage/jungle from hijak, but after half an hour - an hour or so of really quite dull mid range thrashing I figured it was time to call it a night (though i hear he got on the jungle later on? ) Didn't have any earplugs either which doesnt help :P
