Good luck for tomorrow Burial & The Hyperdub Crew, does the award go on votes, or is it a decision of a panel?

you know that the artists do a live performance at the ceromony yeah...

Well I wonder what Burial and the Hyperdub lot are going to do for that?

I hope its a dance troupe!

lol. i'd say he's odds on to win it. If so, it's going to be a legendary moment. Some would say, historic. It's been a long time since roni size scooped it all those years ago.

having said that, radiohead are in the running and they've never won anything.. and mercury have oft been criticised for that.. we'll see. it's a bollocks industry award at the end of the day!

IMO its the best award going .... at least they look at the full spectrum of music made and not just sit on one genre !!

I was thinking about this a while ago actually, i reckon maybe some spaceape business, maybe with Kode9 and Burial (just because he probably will have to do SOMETHING) doing something similar to Kode's Bassfiction thing.

Although i say fuck that, draw for the Pan's People routine

i know what you're sayin.. but at the end of the day, music is a mission, not a competition. The only award any musician needs is to know that they've inspired or uplifted others. Burial has already acheived this, in droves.

I like this idea they should all wear a toxedo but with a hoodie on it.
