Lol yeah saw that, he didn't look happy one bit!
Surprised to see so many women there, swear they were all on something, they skanked away made the men look like cripples trying to dance the way they were at it!
Highlights for me were hearing Kode's second half of his set, Kulture's Steppin Outta Babylon tune, that Coki - Robotnik tune (or whatever it's called) and hearing Hijak drop Calous, still go mad when that tune goes off every time.

lol this seems to be a trend now at dubstep nights. girls runing the skankfloor.
im actually not against the idea, i can see it now...
"dubstep.....the land of the skanking females"
boy they look good doin it so who are we to complain and it helps shift that stereotype of it bein full of men.
Wicked night! My first dmz and loved every minute! (except around 4:30 when my knackered mates dragged me out of there to drive em home grrrr)
Was loving the diversity of sounds. I brought two dubstep virgins along with me and they got a proper education!
I like the heavier, more in your face ones the most, so dmz and Kulture get the most props from me, but loved the deep and dark stuff Deapoh and Pinch kicked it off with. Also loved the changes of pace and direction in Kode9's set.
I'll have to slip some pro plus or something in my mate's stella next time- I'm gutted I had to leave early

Should have just let them sleep in your car until you were ready to leave yourself

id love for loefah and mytikz to play all the oooold stuff. timewarping business.
mala did one of these at the bomb squad night earlier this year. would be unlikely to get one outright at dmz itself, although at the previous one quite a few classics were played throughout the set.

Take thy thoughts to bed with thee, for the morning is wiser than the evening.

Yeah its pretty much against the whole dmz, keep things moving ethos (same reason they don't repress old releases i figure). Which is a pity, as I dont think ive ever wanted to see any set more than classic mala with the odd bit of insane loefah bass and a coki anthem here or there.
The DMZ set that was released as that CD, the one from July 06 in Leeds or something...heaviest set i think ive ever heard. Would have killed to have been there!
