Dubstep Experiment Farewell Party.
That's right, Sase One & Jack, two of Montreal's biggest dubstep DJs, are leaving town, so this is your final chance to catch these heavy-weights rocking the sub-lows!!
And while it's a "finale" for the Dubstep Experiment, we're also proud to present a fresh new talent on the local scene, Mad Eskimo. The man's sound has a touch of Flying Lotus, and at the same time, his music is unique, with hints of his Inuit heritage layered throughout his heavy beats and bass.
This will also be the first time since Mutek to hear Komodo perform a dubstep set in Montreal. Since his CD launch in May 2008, Komodo has been working on plenty of new tracks for performing live with his Australian didgeridoos, Turkish flutes and North African percussion.
And to round out the line-up, DJ Hosta will be on hand to open our ears to the latest vinyl releases from the best of the international producers.
But that's not all! We've added eight extra subs to the SAT's already heavy sound system to get that extra chest-boxing action, and we'll also be joined by three of Montreal's most original VJs: Matt Williston, TIND, and Pink Rubber Lady.
