releases in dubstep sometimes really take the piss. its been on the cards for so long. just gets annoying as the customer that some labels tell you something then never return for ages with no news at all good or bad, wish there was a bit more contact. :|

exactly. if they even said "late september" i could deal with that (apart from the fact that deep medi said 09 would be the first of summer releases...), cause then id have a date at least.

The massive influx of new labels wanting to master with a small pool of engineers and the closing down of Independence have slowed things down loads for everyone this year.

just a lack of releases worth buying. dont get me wrong, ive been buying quite a few records still. but waiting for the good shit is getting a bit tiresome.

Well, i don't know if its affected deep medi but its certainly been a lot harder for us this year. Obviously there are routes down which you can rush a release onto the shelves but if you want things just-so its taking ages right now and requires a lot of chasing.

no joke-- we've got releases 003, 004, and 005 ready to go but have been waiting on 002 since march. the infrastructure is disappearing.

I know, we had 006 ready for aaaages before it got out, 007 has been a long time out of our hands now, 008, 009 and 010 have also been ready for some time..... It is fucking annoying, hopefully it will settle down once the remaining plants fix up their admin structures

Just adding to the general deep medi merriment that is permeating the forum at the moment. Didn't even realise this was out now. Go cop it.
