If there isn't a recession happening already then all these headhunter releases should see to it. Going to be scarily poor by the end of the month. Worth it thoughCharlie Digital wrote:I should add that the album will be available on triple vinyl pack as well as CD.
Royal Flush features on the 1st of 3 limited run coloured 12"s along with Physics Impulse and Axis. This will be the only chance to own Royal Flush and Axis and the run is limited to 750.

Suddenly, there was a terrible roar all around us, and the sky was full with what looked like huge bats, all swooping and screeching and diving around the car, and a voice was screaming:
Holy Jesus. What are these goddamn animals?

ALBUM OF THE WEEK!
HEADHUNTER - Nomad
Tempa
CD // £8.99
HEADHUNTER - Nomad
*NEXT LEVEL DUBSTEP MEETS DUB TECHNO AND DEEP STEPPERS SOMEWHERE BETWEEN CLASSIC CHAIN REACTION AND MARTYN*
Absolutely superb debut album from Headhunter for Tempa. Headhunter has long occupied his own particular nich of the dubstep scene, sitting comfortably between the ultra heavy bass styles of Skream, Benga and his Tempa stablemates, and the deeper Berlin influenced Bristol side of the dubstep coin.
The styles are perfectly coalesced on 'Nomad', Headhunters first LP after a run of cherished productions from the killer 'Initiate EP' to heavyweight soundsystem smashers on Tech Itch's Ascension imprint. Opener 'Lifeform' could almost be a Fluxion track from the Chain Reaction catalogue, cutting deep into a 130bpm dub techno groove with barely contained subbass pressure, before switching up a gear for 'prototype' with a tech-dub-step treat.
It's tracks like 'Paradigm shift' or 'In Motion' that sum it up very neatly with dub techno steppers closely aligned to the Peverelist or Appleblim Bristol style of rugged dub chords attached to itchy steppers riddims and ridiculously massive basslines.
It's a hugely recommended set for all the deeper and darker dubstep fiends and should really be up there as one of the dubstep albums of the year. Tip!...
