I'm watching this video and the guy is giving all sorts of tells that he is lying, deceiving, etc.

Done a fair amount of study on body language, and dude is pretty good about covering it up, but he's not that good. When he's looking down, he's thinking. To the right and down, lying, left imagining, etc...

he's full of shit.

Eyes look Left = Lying, look Right = Remembering

(right-handed person; from your viewpoint, looking at them)

um.. actually... up and your left is lying (or more accurately retrieving information from imagination).. and down and your left (what hes doing often) is retrieving from the part of the brain that recalls memories from the sense.

Up and to the Left
Indicates: Visually Constructed Images (Vc)
If you asked someone to "Imagine a purple buffalo", this would be the direction their eyes moved in while thinking about the question as they "Visually Constructed" a purple buffalo in their mind.

Down and to the Left
Indicates: Feeling / Kinesthetic
If you asked someone to "Can you remember the smell of a campfire? ", this would be the direction their eyes moved in while thinking about the question as they used recalled a smell, feeling, or taste.
