wonderful night of tunes.

darkstar's set started pretty modestly but it turned into an 8-bit monster. loved all the hyperdub stuff, the whole sound was different.

oneman's set was so diverse and energetic. i never thought i'd ever hear some of those old tunes dropped on that system. he's a bad boy beatmatcher, too...lightning!

joe...rock with you acapella opener!
dave...king midas sound closer!

another huge night in the books. thanks

a nyc diner at 6:15am. a group of bro's are sitting around a table full of pancakes, eggs and orange juice.

me : "you know there's alaska in one room and then africa in the other room tonight. it was crazy sauna styles in there!

joe nice : "it was bro. i was sweating bullets."

mr.darkstar : "i think the heat was good. Almost like the heat was a part of the night as well."

mr. oneman : "yeah man, it was different."

daveq : "Great energy, all night in there."

me : "definitely."

(silence as everyone at the table eats for a few minutes.)

me : "the b2b should have been recorded. "

darkstar : " this guy at the next table is eating a ice cream sunday at 6am on a saturday morning? ???? madman! "

(a round of laughs. more food and jokes.)

out to everyone in the building friday night. it was a great one. i'm sure the ac will get sorted out by the nextone. its usually cool in that main room at love.

out to mr. oneman and darkstar for some massive laughs this weekend. you guys are gold. out to the dubwar famo.

can you feel the burn? large large large extra large night. hold tight cousin oneman-anyone who knows me has definitely heard me speak highly of this brer and i hope you all understand and appreciate what he brings to the decks as much as i do. darkstar you badboy playing on overly shower set, hope you sorted out that ipod touch, make a jax profit on that. dave q's set was like being in a dream, i didnt want it to end. big brother joe nice. only this man would come to love after being away for x amount of time and start with the wacko jacko accapella. then he has the audacity to play the bassweight version of erykah badus call tyrone..are you dumb brov? bigup the temperature inside, i swear it was at least 120 degrees behind the booth let alone on the dancefloor. and hold tight the student gang, bare young faces i didnt recognise..in closing, large up the dubwar family, ones and darkstar, onewoman liz on lights, the whole love staff, pandaia and alex incyde, andreamia, jess, secret agent gel, the captain and the entire trouble and bass crew(next week-oh boy!), dave sharma, rachel i miss you, shani i love you and everyone who sweated from every pore. your time! out to all the gash that were seated on the subwoofers. warm innit? i know your secrets

when i got there (after running through the streets of new york at top speed) near the end of darkstars set it was fuggin PACKED in that place wow. it was an interesting mix of faces for sure!

where was Juakali?? i was upset he wasnt there! i didnt realize he wasnt gonna be.

Registered here to say how great the night was. Been a long time DnB head and have recently been getting into dubstep. Sick sick sick night. Will definitely be making a habit out of this party. Had to leave around 4:30 to make a train but didn't want to go. It's been an awful long time since I didn't want to leave a party at 4:30.

out to black plague on the mic.. first live american host i've heard for dubstep, holdin it down solid (and in style, not to mention)

oneman crushes it... killer mix after killer mix... unstoppable! out to those on the dance floor for the FORGIVE / STONE COLD blend at the end...... truly epic. stonecold ain't gettin by oneman... no F'in way.

joe nice throwin all the chips down on the table... not hesitating to make FULL use of the Love system... and it feels soooooooo good. dunno what any of those were but that one skream track is off on a nut.

b2b2b2b.... are U STUPID!!!

suddenly you look at your watch and its 5 am and all the DJ's are still rockin out, even though there's less people on the dancefloor than there are in the dj booth, but no one wants to go home. out to the stamina crew.

Yeah, it's always hot but this was on a different level. I normally only sweat like that after running at the gym for 30 or 40 minutes. It was worth it, though.

i would have stayed longer, even if i couldnt move, and sat in the checkered room and felt that ruthless bassweight, but i was with some girls who wanted to take off

Pissed i missed most of darkstar, the vibe in there was awesome when i walked in at the end of his set. What was the vocal track he dropped near the end?? I love that song so glad he played it

Out to the oneman for the last track, never heard that on a system like that, i was just leanin on the speakers takin that shit in!

BENGA tracks were makin me nostalgic about seein that fucker in LOVE, Flames! i wanted someone to drop the I'll kut ya SOO FUCKING BAD!!! i neeeeded to hear that on the moster system. that track BUMPS

fuckin oneman made me lose my breath a good amount of times, workout style! maybe it was the heat.
