Digital or Vinyl
Personally, I prefer the 400's to the 1000's + the ability to play tunes direct from usb/ipos/itunes is cracking. and it's £800 for the pair with the 400's. my flatmate has the Technic SL-dz1200 and, between you and me, they're shit!fork46 wrote:At the minute i only mix vinyl, i'd like to buy some CDJs at some point, maybe only one, but funds are low and they are quite expensive. Does any one know if its worth buying cheaper CDJs or are they a waste of time? I've only ever played on CDJ 1000s and i really liked them, but at nearly £750ish each thats quite alot!!
Cheers mate. I just had a look at the 400s, they look pretty nice, might have to try and have a go on a pair and see what they're like, then its just finding enough space to put them, desk is already full with the technics and mixer!Sandman wrote:Personally, I prefer the 400's to the 1000's + the ability to play tunes direct from usb/ipos/itunes is cracking. and it's £800 for the pair with the 400's. my flatmate has the Technic SL-dz1200 and, between you and me, they're shit!fork46 wrote:At the minute i only mix vinyl, i'd like to buy some CDJs at some point, maybe only one, but funds are low and they are quite expensive. The guy selling this did a pair for the 400's for about £50 and they're pretty good. gives me loads more room + it looks cool having them suspended above the technics.
Cheers again mate, thats exactly what i need if i get a pair.Sandman wrote:fork46 wrote:Cheers mate. My little brother has this little tracking wheel tascam thing that is kind of like a cheap version of soreto, which works ok. But he only really uses that so he can play his own productions which is fair enough. Personally I don't see the point of digital why pay money for nothing? I've got thousands of mp3's on my computer and I wouldn't pay for any of them, yet I'd be more than happy to spend stupid amounts buying up records, getting stuck with loads 12inches with a good a side and a kind of boring aa side. Who cares? vinyl all the way, if you don't get it you're just wrong.
