Steppin' Ahead is a new label specializing in dub-step that is launched by KK, the owner of hiphop and breakbeats label Lo-Vibes Recordings. Dub-step scene is now really rising globally but there has no label in Japan that focuses on dub-step. Goth-Trad is very well known but there are lot of great under-the-radar artists as well.Steppin' Ahead is started by KK who 'takes it personnal'.
The label will start up with releases by Japanese artists. There are plans for compilations albums that will include artists from overseas who has no deal with a label.
As a launch, Steppin' Ahead will release an album by OQTO and then release albums by T2R and Chew-Z, so there will be a full-length release for three month in a row!
