I second the Logic on Mac. I have G5 dual 2.0 and Logic Pro is the finest all in one solution for your complete production. Lots of good plugins (instruments and fx), high performance, etc. As for Waves, I have switched from them to UAD1 (compression, EQs) and well, who needs Waves anymore?
