The absolute kings of math in my mind were/are Don Caballero: http://www.myspace.com/doncaballeropgh (new line-up is decent but not a patch on the earlier stuff, Don Caballero II, Singles Breaking Up and especially What Burns Never Returns and American Don).

OH.. and perhaps two of the greatest releases Dischord Recs ever put out. EVER, imo discerning opinion. Prove me wrong. Chris Thompson was/is the man. See.. Unrest, Ignition, Skull Kontrol, Monorchid, Las Mordidas... need i say more? Bigs up to anyone who got to see Circus Lupus live in their prime.

oh Canaduh. Some nationalistic pride is in order, cuz i can say that brilliance like SHOTMAKER were once local at one time. ..the noise. the bass, the screams.. bliss really.

If anyone hasn't checked them out, their entire discography was put out on Troubleman Unlimited years back - double cd. It is REQUIRED listening to anyone who reads this thread. seriously.
