Damn it, I knew I'd miss something if I left... Magnetic man was too sick though! I'm in awe of their production, Cyberman is a CHOON!

Great set, I had a bit of a drug malfunction so I had to skip out before Hijak, which is disappointing, not seen him dj yet.

Only complaint I would have (and really it's a complaint about something that is a positive really) is that it was too stowed to get a good dance on.

it wasn't quite so busy after magnetic man. although i wouldn't really say it was too busy, there were quite a lot of loons raving about sticking their elbows in to u at every opportunity
kinda annoying when ur just trying to get a nice wee skank on
but hey, just a minor ****** over an otherwise fookin perfect night!
hijak ruled it btw. still tryin to figure out who the other surprise guest was, i recognised him but can't for the life of me remember who it is.

Good to see so many people there, even if it was a bit crowded at times

There was no other surprise guests, only me handing JP my tunes as I was too drunk to mix em!

Thanks to everyone who turned out. We, nor the art school had any idea it would be so busy, so apologies for the rather thick queue at the bar.

We'll be putting up the birthday mix online somewhere soon, as in all the madness, we forgot to give out the cds!! They'll be available at the next one with Tony Thorpe/The Moody Boyz, hope to see you all there.

Cheers for a good night, I really enjoyed the later stuff from Hijak and our local boys, it was the highlight for me (Rob Base & EZ Rock = moment of genius). I was a bit...underwhelmed with Magnetic Man though, it seemed like they were having a lot more fun playing their tunes than I got from listening to them.

Erm, it was a LIVE set. So tune selection and mixing dont really apply here, even though it is improvised.

Anyway, heres the flyer for our next dance.

well, there are practically hundreds of skream and benga productions so obviously they need to choose the most suitable tunes. and even though the tracks are edited on the fly they still need to be mixed and blended in to each other. so yeah, maybe i wasn't clear in the way i worded things but that's what i was meaning.
