I picked up a copy of 'Circuits' by Amps for Christ about a month back expecting harsh noise, quite surprised to find its an experimental psych/noise folk album, and a pretty good one.

i saw pocahaunted with liz harris(grouper) this spring... nice stuff.
voice of the seven woods album is pretty nice, also digging on the new hush arbors release. not on the folk/psych tip but the new christian fennesz album ought to be something special.

you should definitely listen to badgerlore then if you haven't(liz harris is a member!) grouper is ok stuff but the newest one wasn't my style

Cool. Have only heard Higgs and Six Organs but will definitely check out the rest. Do Sunburned Hand Of The Man count? 'Cos they're amazing, particularly the 'Rare Wood' album. Also been listening to a bit of A Hawk And A Hacksaw recently.
