check out joe nice, n-type, skream, distance, hatcha, heny g, caspa,...

in fact, just check www.barefiles.com and work your way from the top down...I'm sure you will find sets that either suit your taste, your mood, your musical preference, whatever..

:D

Dubstep Warz was sick. So was the Essential Mix with Plastician/Mystikz.
Other than that, the weekly mixes from Rinse FM keep me going. Skream, N-Type etc etc. Bunzer0 has a wkd collection of mixes 1-8. Well worth checking on a progressive flex.

i've been wanting someone to start a thread like this - recommend yr favourites off barefiles basically. my top three atm:

joe nice gourmet beats 20/12/05 - the one that starts with 'ain't no sunshine'. fucking timeless set, always goes on when i get back from dmz or fwd; beautiful wind-down business.

kode9 rinse 26/04/06 - just brilliant eclecticism from the nine; d1 and wiley and mala and... just a big set basically. what the hell is that that's mixed with wd25? i remember missed calling quite a lot in that set. nine gets ridiculously excited about the new rinse phone as well lol.

ruff sqwad rinse some time late last year (not on mp3 yet!) - the most amazing mcing, bare exclusives that STILL haven't been released like 'died in yr arms', and the rsmd even try some jungle-style mcing for laughs at the end! this is still on cassette but boomnoise is gonna rip it for me when his 'studio' is set up! :)

Has Kode 9 been on Rinse recently?

I'm still loving the session from 9th May '06.

haha big up man, can't believe that old mix still gets props: http://dubstepforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=4151 :D:

I still batter the following most weeks:

United Vibes History of Dubstep mix
Benga mix for Gutterbreakz/Mixing Records
all the DMZ shows off Radio 1
Youngsta b2b Loefah on Rinse (October 2005ish?)

and Hatcha Practice Hours is obviously still massive.

I'm slacking I know but I'm still gonna put up a "Intro to Dubstep" and "Intro to Grime" mix on Barefiles. Also later tonight I should have a "Favourties" list from the file ratings..

Also PM me if there are any big mixes which need to go on Barefiles and pls include a download link!

Second that.

Youngsta/Task 27 May 2006 on Rinse was a big set - double mixing of Skream Deep Concentration, and the first plays of some Headhunter tunes on Rinse.

Skream-b2b-Chef 23rd May 06 on Rinse was another big set (Dubstep naration anyone!!)

Skream-b2b-Tubby 4th April 06 was great for some old skool vibes!!!

The latest H.E.N.C.H set that Wedge posted up was very good as well, especially for a different type of set from the Rinse stuff.

My picks of the year....
