hes abstract as shit, dats what i like, and keep in mind all this was made in the 70's peaches en ragalia is def my all time fav, i jus find it groundbreaking

also the concept albums

album titles like "shiek yurbuti"

and the subject matter and parodiesof most his tunes

plus its all so theatrical!!

Werd2Jah...every post you make i am impressed by. Damn nice taste in music from what ive seen. respect. you live in the FL-GA area?

Zappa is brilliant indeed. check the album Jazz From Hell. so far ahead of its time. I really dont know as much as i should about him but everything ive heard fucked my mind in a different way, and thats what i look for in music!

"joe's garage" is one of my top 10 lp's of all time! The concept is fabulous, tunes are all killer and lyrics are some of the greatest ever! deconstruction of music industry in '79!

Hi, it's me again...the central scrutinizer! 8)

You gotta love Freak Out! and Hot Rats is my favorite vinyl to put on.
Apostrophe is great. actually i like most of them. i just recently picked sleep dirt. it has some killer instrumental tracks on there.
The Song Billy the Mountain off of Just another band from LA is also killer.
Zappa is just one of those brilliant people that come along once in a while. kudos for this topic :D
